How to apply to Bachelor in Nursing

Admission to undergraduate study programmes in Norway is coordinated by The Norwegian Universities and Colleges Admission Service (Samordna opptak).

The application deadline is 1st of March / 15th of April. You can apply online through Samordna opptak.

You have to meet the admission requirements and document proficiency in Norwegian at level B2 or better to be eligible for admission.

How to apply to postgraduate studies at LDUC

Admission to postgraduate studies is regulated by LDUCs administrative regulations.

The application deadline for master’s programmes is 1st of March. Other postgraduate programmes have individual deadlines. See more information on the website for the relevant programme.

Qualified applicants can apply through Søknadsweb.

Admission requirements

Master’s programmes

  • Norwegian authorisation as a nurse
  • A minimum of 2 years professional experience as a nurse within Scandinavia
  • Norwegian at level B2 or above

Some programmes may have additional requirements.

Fees for international students

Non-EEA-nationals are required to pay international tuition fees. You are exempt from paying the fee if you are eligible for a student loan from Lånekassen. See Lånekassen’s website for more information about whether you are eligible for a loan. For Bachelor in Nursing, the fee is 140 000 NOK per year.
